Will my hospital allow birth photography?
Many do, but I always encourage clients to check with their care team in advance. Some hospitals have specific policies, but if your provider supports it and you’ve got the all-clear, I’ll be there — quietly, respectfully, and ready to document your story.
How long do you stay after the baby is born?
I typically stay 1–2 hours after birth to capture bonding, the first exam, feedings, and those early introductions to family and friends. If you’ve added a Fresh 48 session, I’ll return the next day for a gentle, documentary-style session during daylight hours.
Will my birth photos be shared online?
Only with your permission. While I love sharing birth stories that inspire and educate, I deeply respect the sacredness of your space. Nothing is ever shared without your full, informed consent.
What is a Fresh 48 Session?
A Fresh 48 takes place within the first 24 hours after your baby is born — typically at the hospital or birth center. It’s a beautiful way to capture the raw, quiet magic of your baby’s first day earthside. No posing, no props — just real connection, soft light, and the start of your next chapter.

On-Call Window
I’m on call for you beginning at 38 weeks — day or night, I’ll be ready to join you once labor begins. Births don’t follow business hours, and neither do I.
Travel Radius
Sessions include travel within 30 miles of New Orleans. For locations outside that range, a small travel fee may apply.
Image Delivery
Your final gallery of hand-edited images will be delivered via a private online link within 3–4 weeks of your session. Birth galleries are delivered within 4–6 weeks, with sneak peeks available sooner.
Albums & Prints
Keepsake albums, heirloom prints, and video slideshows are available as add-ons or can be bundled into your collection. Let’s create something you can hold in your hands — not just scroll past.
Retainer & Booking
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session or due date. The remaining balance is due by 37 weeks (or 48 hours before any scheduled newborn session). Your retainer secures your place on my calendar and ensures I’m on call just for you. Payment plans are available — just ask!
