DOES MY HOSPITAL ALLOW BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY?
I strongly encourage all of my clients to discuss photography with their healthcare provider. Some hospitals actually have a policy of no photography during birth, however if your doctor allows having a photographer in the room, that usually overrides hospital policy.
HOW LONG DO YOU STAY AFTER THE BABY IS BORN?
I stay and document bonding, baby’s first exam, and introductions to family and friends who are at the birth place. This is generally around 2 hours after delivery. I also offer a Birth+Fresh 48 package that includes a Fresh 48 session the day after baby is born.
WOULD ALL OF THE PICTURES FROM MY BIRTH BE ONLINE FOR EVERYONE TO SEE?
I love to share my birth stories and am given permission by my clients to do so, however I understand that sharing such an intimate event is not for everyone. Your privacy is important to me and I will only post your pictures online if given signed consent.
WHAT IS A FRESH 48 SESSION?
Our Fresh 48 is a special session for new families who desire to have the first hours of their newborn's life captured without having the entire labor or birth documented. Held within the first 24-48 hours of your baby’s life, these lifestyle sessions are perfect for remembering your baby's first day and capturing the sweet moments of family & loved ones meeting your new addition.
